Storage Virtual Machines : Protection : SnapMirror : Configuring SnapMirror relationships for Data ONTAP 8.1.x : Deleting SnapMirror relationships

Deleting SnapMirror relationships
You can delete a SnapMirror relationship and permanently end the relationship between the source and destination volumes. Deletion of a SnapMirror relationship allows the source to delete the Snapshot copies associated with that destination.
Before you begin
The SnapMirror relationship between the source and destination must be in Broken state.
Steps
1.
From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
Expand the Storage Virtual Machines hierarchy in the left navigation pane.
3.
In the navigation pane, select the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and click SnapMirror.
4.
Select the SnapMirror relationship that you want to delete and click Delete.
5.
Select the confirmation check box and click Delete.
